ACUMAL is developed for killing the erythrocytic stage of plasmodium asexual form. It is effective to malaria caused by chloroquine resistant stain of plasmodium falciparum. Artesunate can quickly and reliably control the acute attack of malaria. It is suitable to salvage the patients with pernicious malaria and treat P. falciparum malaria and P. vivax malaria. The Artesunate Injection is indicated for the treatment of serious malaria infections and the patients with cerebral malaria.
Sodium Bicarbonate Injection may be indicated in the treatment of metabolic acidosis which can occur in severe renal disease, uncontrolled diabetes, circulatory insufficiency due to shock, anoxia or severe dehydration, extracorporeal circulation of blood and severe primary lactic acidosis. Sodium Bicarbonate Injection is further indicated in the treatment of certain drug intoxications, including barbiturates, in poisoning by salicylates or methyl alcohol, and in hemolytic reactions requiring alkalinization of the urine to diminish nephrotoxicity of blood pigments.
